This Hybrid style roll cage is for the 84-01 Jeep XJ 4-door platform. It is called a hybrid cage because it has an interior cage portion, and an exterior cage portion - making it a hybrid of the two cage styles. Our cage has external A-pillars, roof halo, and spreaders, with interior B/C/D pillars, harness bars, and X-bracing.

1.75"x.120" DOM A/B/C Pillars, Roof Halo, Roof Cross Bars.
1.5"x.120 DOM lacing, diagonals, supports, harness bars, D-pillars, and D-Pillar interior and roof supports.
Optional cowl bar and windshield intrusion bars.
Clears OEM interior trim panels. Can re-use OEM headliner.
The exterior portion of this cage fits tight to the exterior of the Jeep.
Roof halo has a bend near the B-pillar to help the tube follow the rounded roof line/drip rail of the XJ.
B-pillars are carefully designed to maximize foot clearance for rear passengers, and seat clearance for front driver/passenger.
B/C/D Pillars penetrate through the roof and weld directly to the spreader bars on the roof.
All tubes are labeled with part numbers.
The A-pillars are designed to land on a customer supplied/installed 2x6 rocker replacement style rock slider. This A-pillar tube may require minor adjustments to fit your slider configuration.
Unibody stiffeners MUST be installed prior to the cage. Stiffeners and 2x6 rocker replacement are not included.
Kit includes 3/16" laser cut plates for the cage to land on (not shown). B and C pillars have doubler plates sandwiching the floor. Buyer is responsible for tying the bottom plates into the unibody.
Roof Halo is broken into 4 sections for shipping.
This is a weld-it yourself kit. Significant modification to your vehicle is required.
Note: All vehicles are manufactured with slight differences in tolerance, fitment, assembly, etc. Vehicles that have been driven hard, used off-road, or been in prior accidents may cause the kit to not fit correctly. Tubes in this kit may require trimming and modification to fit your vehicle properly.
